Mitigating risky business in insurance with ShareBase
In insurance organizations, sharing documents — between both internal users and external parties — is a business imperative. Many insurance entities still rely on paper-based processes, which are inefficient and expensive, and can expose organizations to risk.
The Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) is a statewide voluntary nonprofit association comprised of seven related entities, including the TASB Risk Management Fund — a risk-sharing pool that provides services for auto, liability, property, unemployment and workers’ compensation.
TASB leverages ShareBase for its users to:
- Share information with medical providers directly from their enterprise information system OnBase
- Digitally deliver document packages from claims specialists to providers
- Eliminate printing, mailing and faxing provider information as well as multiple versions of the same document in different phases of assessment
