MSI Profiler for Alfresco is a powerful, flexible, and easy to use application developed to place robust indexing and scanning management features into the hands of users with intuitive interfaces. The latest version of MSI Profiler represents a next generation release of a product that has continually evolved over the past five years in response to user feedback and specific industry requirements.
Today’s MSI Profiler offers significant metadata functionality and document processing with simplified and streamlined screen designs and dashboards. Users have options to access MSI Profiler from Alfresco Share or by URL from their web browser. Once in the MSI Profiler users can simultaneously view and rapidly assign metadata to documents, execute ad-hoc and structured workflows, and sort and review all documents related to specific initiatives (Project, Deal, Matter, etc.). Automated event notifications alert users to take actions and offer easy navigation to associated documents.
MSI Profiler’s scanning features include built-in scan and image management that allow clients to lower costs associated with document and image processing while increasing operational efficiency. On screen features allows users to drive connected desktop scanners for single or small batches of documents and images with the push of a button while also offering comprehensive management tools necessary to handle scanning and indexing for large batches of scanned documents from high volume scanning equipment.
The MSI Profiler Dashboard allows users to monitor process queues and display a list of the documents at a particular stage. Users can then click on a document in the list to automatically launch the MSI Profiler and process the selected document(s).
MSI Profiler is designed to work in conjunction with many leading scanning, fax, and image management software systems. Leveraging the advanced features of these products for intake and document ingestion, MSI Profiler becomes the user front end for easy indexing and metadata management, allowing for distributed processing without the excessive licensing costs.
MSI Profiler is used in validated and regulated environments including those requiring 21 CFR Part 11 compliance. Easy to use and rollout, MSI Profiler enhances document and image processing and increases use and adoption of the Alfresco repository for centralized document management.
