Epic Haiku and Epic Canto integration
Extend the benefits of Epic’s Haiku and Canto with OnBase
Integrating OnBase with Epic Haiku, which enables access to the EMR via iOS and Android smartphones, and Epic Canto, which enables physician access via an iPad, allows users to directly access OnBase content and functionality through these mobile Epic applications.
Better treatment, higher quality patient care
There’s no need to log into separate healthcare software systems. Create and sign forms, take and store photos, view OnBase patient content and complete deficiencies from the Haiku/Canto patient context. While in Haiku or Canto, users retrieve information stored in OnBase, such as test results, electronic forms (including consents), EKGs, as well as medical photos and images. Users can also take new photos and videos, fill out electronic forms, capture digital signatures and complete deficiencies using OnBase functionality and all of this content will immediately associate with the appropriate patient record in Epic.
With all of this information easily accessible through Haiku or Canto, physicians gain access to the most current and relevant clinical information regardless of their location. This flexibility helps physicians respond with the most up-to-date information available, even if they are on call, in the hospital, on the road or at home.
This can result in better treatment, a higher quality of care, and improved physician satisfaction.
