Hyland, a leading content services provider, has reached the 200-certification mark with Amazon Web Services (AWS) – a milestone that quickly follows Hyland’s October achievement of 100 certifications, symbolizing the importance of and focus on deepening AWS expertise within the company.

“Our efforts to continually bolster our expertise on AWS benefit our customers greatly, as they can feel confident that they are working with a qualified partner that possesses the knowledge to design, deploy and operate applications and infrastructure on AWS,” said Matt Beyer, Hyland’s AWS Alliance Lead.

In addition to the rapid growth in Hyland certifications with AWS, Hyland last year began deploying new OnBase and Brainware customers on AWS, a move geared to supporting increased cloud deployment and migration needs from its customers. Hyland also listed its Alfresco Digital Business Platform in AWS Marketplace, providing easier procurement options for Hyland customers to secure Hyland's content services and intelligent automation products.

The most recent certification distinction is part of Hyland’s broader effort to scale and validate its Cloud team’s technical expertise on AWS. The certification process includes individual employee assessments in the form of classroom or digital training courses and ultimately requires passing an exam. Hyland employees obtained multiple AWS certifications including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Developer – Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.

Hyland also has taken the following steps to further its work with AWS over the last two years:

  • Expanded the cloud infrastructure footprint of the Hyland Cloud
  • Deployed OnBase, Alfresco Platform as a Service and Nuxeo Cloud customers on AWS Regions as the primary preference of infrastructure

“Together with AWS, we are providing a services and management portfolio that will give enterprise customers fast, flexible access to the cloud,” Beyer said.
