Protect yourself from recent recruitment scams involving individuals falsely claiming to represent Hyland.

We’re aware of fraudulent job postings and recruiting communications from individuals falsely claiming to represent Hyland, including Hyland recruiters and HR personnel.

These communications are not from Hyland. Their purpose may be to obtain money or sensitive personal information from job seekers. We are sharing this notice to make job seekers aware of these scams, help prevent anyone from becoming a victim of fraud and support efforts to stop this activity.

What is recruitment fraud?

Recruitment fraud is a scam in which individuals or organizations falsely present themselves as a company, recruiter or hiring representative to mislead job seekers. These scams often involve bogus websites, fake job postings, fraudulent interview requests or false job offers designed to obtain money, personal information or both.

Please be aware:

  • Hyland job opportunities are posted through Hyland’s official careers channels.
  • Hyland does not require payment, gift cards, wire transfers, cryptocurrency or other fees at any stage of the recruiting or hiring process.
  • Hyland does not make job offers without an appropriate interview and selection process.
  • Hyland will not ask applicants to provide highly sensitive personal or financial information at the outset of the recruiting process.

Fraudulent recruiting activity may include:

  • Emails or other communications from individuals claiming to represent Hyland that do not come from an official “@Hyland.com” email address
  • Hyland’s name, logo, branding or other company identifiers fraudulently featured on communications or documentation to make them appear legitimate
  • Requests for payment, gift cards, wire transfers, cryptocurrency or financial information
  • Pressure to act immediately or keep the process confidential
  • Offers of employment without interviews or with minimal screening
  • Poor grammar, unusual formatting or inconsistent contact information
  • Requests to communicate only through unofficial messaging platforms

How to protect yourself:

  • Apply only through Hyland’s official careers website.
  • Be cautious of any recruiting communication that does not come from an official “@Hyland.com” email address, as it is likely illegitimate.
  • Be aware that scams may occur by email, text message, phone or other messaging platforms.
  • Do not engage with suspicious or fraudulent senders.
  • Do not forward fraudulent emails or messages.
  • Do not send money, gift cards, banking information or copies of personal identification documents in response to unsolicited recruiting communications.
  • Do not click suspicious links or open unexpected attachments.

If you receive a suspicious communication claiming to be from Hyland, do not respond and do not send any money or personal information.

We take this matter seriously, and we’re working to address fraudulent misuse of the Hyland name and brand.
