It’s been quite a year for Xander Schauffele.

The latest highlight for Schauffele is a spot on the cover of the November and December 2021 issue of Golf Magazine. The corresponding article on the 2019 and 2020 FedEx Cup runner-up showcases Schauffele the son, brother, husband, friend and golfer.

The story also discusses qualities that further explain why the partnership between Hyland and Schauffele is as perfect as a round of golf featuring blue skies, good friends, solid shots and multiple meals.

The competitor

The Golf Magazine story describes Schauffele as someone who “doesn’t have an off switch.”

Eric Ingersoll, a friend who regularly plays with Schauffele, said the PGA standout is “relentless” and “never plays bad. Ever.”

When Hyland and Schauffele became partners, the golfer was an up-and-comer who had yet to become a household name. Fast-forward a couple years, and Schauffele is one of the best players in the world — riding a five-year run of four top-five finishes in the FedExCup.

At Hyland, we provide the X factors that give your organization a competitive advantage. Like Xander, we have beaten out bigger names, and we’re proud to have been named a Leader in the 2021 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Content Services Platforms. (That’s 12 years in a row, if you, like Schauffele fans tracking his every move at Augusta, are keeping score at home.)

The teammate

Schauffele, Golf Magazine said, was “an emotional centerpiece” for a U.S. team that produced the largest margin of victory since Europe became part of the Ryder Cup in 1979.

Patrick Cantlay, who combined with Schauffele to win four of six matches in the 2019 Presidents Cup and 2021 Ryder Cup, said his playing partner is “incredibly smart” and “incredibly conscientious.”

Schauffele, Cantlay continued, is “someone who probably brings out the best in me.”

We at Hyland do that for our customers every day, with cutting-edge technology that gives organizations quick, easy access to make the most informed decisions and provide the best service.

“Hyland and my team, we’re very similar in the way we conduct business,” Schauffele has said. “Teamwork and collaboration are two key pillars that we both share, and for that reason, I feel like our partnership is one that makes plenty of sense.”

The client

Schauffele’s agent, Ross Chouler, had a telling quote about a golfer that compiled six top-five and nine top-10 finishes in his first 18 appearances in major tournaments.

“He’s so present,” Chouler said to Golf Magazine. “I see other guys and how their minds get active under pressure. Not his. He lets things go when he should, on and off the course. When he’s hitting a shot, he has his routine, and he does not get out of that routine. It’s incredible. He and Stefan (Xander’s father and swing coach) talk about CEA: Commit. Execute. Accept. Whatever happens, happens.”

We can’t pretend to know what it’s like to compete shot-for-shot with Tiger Woods at the Masters. But we’re well aware of the X factors that help organizations take their performance to the next level.

We help thousands of businesses around the world exceed their potential. Just don’t ask us for swing advice. (Stefan and Xander have been known to give a pointer or two.)

“Hyland is always in the back, creating opportunity for their business partners,” Schauffele said.

The star golfer added that his team is always there to supply “the right information so I can perform at my highest level every week.”

We can do that, too. Only it’s with robotic process automation, the cloud, intelligent automation and other industry-leading services.

You won’t see us near the top of the FedEx Cup standings. But you might spot our brand on Xander Schauffele’s sleeve and hear about the work we do for organizations that are every bit as recognizable as gold medalists and golfers who win green jackets.
