Letter to Nolij customers from Hyland president and CEO, Bill Priemer
We welcome our new colleagues and customers

To our new customers,
I am excited to share that today we announced the completion of our acquisition of the Perceptive business unit of Lexmark International, Inc., including your Nolij software solution.
For years we’ve admired the people and technology of Perceptive, and I am thrilled to welcome them into the Hyland family. We’re a software company that thrives on new ideas and diverse perspectives, and since 1991, it’s been our mission to help our employees, customers and partners exceed their potential, and now that includes you. Welcome!
As you’re aware, the Nolij platform has not been a focus of proactive development under the Kofax/Perceptive organisation in recent times. Currently, the discontinuation of support for Nolij has been set by Kofax/Perceptive for September 30, 2018. With the acquisition of Perceptive and its products, Hyland has decided to take some time to evaluate whether that stance should continue, and we will communicate more on this in the near future.
For many Nolij customers, migration to OnBase by Hyland may be an option or even a desire in the short term. Used by large public universities, small private colleges and community colleges nationwide, OnBase offers Nolij users a migration path with strong Higher Education solution offerings and experience, whether deployed on premises or in the Hyland Cloud.
In fact, a number of Nolij users like Central Methodist University have already made the choice to move from Nolij to the OnBase Higher Education suite of solutions, and Hyland has worked extremely hard to make that migration from Nolij as seamless and simple as possible.
As we evaluate the go-forward plans with Nolij, I want to make one thing very clear: Hyland has always been fanatically committed to customer success, and that’s one thing that will never change. We look forward to extending this culture of support, partnership and accountability to all members of the Hyland community.
Over the past decade, Hyland has acquired several software products and customer bases. We continue to serve those customers today, just as we’ll continue to support you going forward.
I’m excited for what’s to come as we welcome you into the Hyland community of customers, and I look forward to our conversations in the future.
