Hyland Software acquires The CSC Group

On September 24, 2010, Hyland Software bought Computer Systems Company, Inc. (dba The CSC Group). The CSC Group provides business and clinical healthcare software and document conversion services.

The national focus is currently on clinical applications such as the electronic medical record (EMR). Healthcare organisations are also working to make their operations more efficient. Buying The CSC Group strengthens and extends Hyland’s presence in more parts of the healthcare system, particularly in patient financial services.
