What's New in OnBase 11.0 for Insurance?
With more than 1,800 enhancements, 4,400 software changes and input from many of our 10,000 lifetime customers, OnBase 11.0 is ready to help your organization become more efficient than ever before. New features and functionality span Hyland Software’s revolutionary OnBase product suite, and there are specific enhancements that are designed to add great value to your industry.
Today, the options for how enterprise content management (ECM) can help insurers accomplish their everyday tasks are light years ahead of where they were only a few years ago, when insurers were among the first to adopt document imaging. With OnBase 11.0, ECM takes another step forward for insurance with mobile applications.
Many insurance companies have developed apps for consumers, but few have thought about the impact they can have on their field workforce. The mobile apps in OnBase 11.0 give field workers access to supporting documents and workflows on their smartphones or tablets no matter where they are, at home or far from headquarters.
Information is sent back to HQ faster, so insurers start using it sooner. And that means insurers eliminate lengthy process delays between paper in the field and IT systems in the office.
Plus, mobile means more than just apps for OnBase. Field workers can also use laptops to work in OnBase completely offline. Unity Briefcase lets employees carry a “mini-OnBase” wherever they go. They can update or add notes to documents, create new e-forms and upload photos and other information – all disconnected from the network. Once back in the office, the employee reconnects to OnBase, synchronizing the offline documents and revised business process workflows.
Our new release adds more than 1,800 enhancements to the OnBase ECM suite.
