Enterprise Content Management With OnBase

'Mortgage Technology' Names Hyland Software 2011 Top Service Provider

Mortgage Technology magazine recently named Hyland Software and its award-winning enterprise content management (ECM) software solution, OnBase, one of its Top Service Providers for 2011. This is the sixth time in eight years that Hyland and OnBase made the list.

 

The designation, says Michelle Shapiro, industry marketing manager, financial services, underscores Hyland’s proven track record of providing business critical technology, innovative tools and excellent customer service to lenders, servicers and other mortgage industry organizations. And it shows that the mortgage community views Hyland as a large and important player in the lending space.

 

“This award is an example of Hyland’s viability and the strength of our technology,” says Shapiro. “It shows that Hyland is continuously endeavoring to provide value to our customers and the financial services industry by developing robust solutions that allow for instant and secure access to documents, ensures that processes are manageable and measurable, and increases operational efficiencies.

Mortgage Technology editors selected its Top Service Providers based on four criteria:

  • Viable revenue model and value proposition to customers,
  • Exceptional customer service; and,
  • A unique impact on the mortgage industry.

“We are the only ‘true’ ECM provider on the list,” says Shapiro. “By that, I mean we are the only vendor that focuses solely on enterprise content management and nothing else. We live and breathe ECM.”

 

And the software solution’s open architecture enables mortgage lenders to seamlessly integrate OnBase with existing loan origination systems, third-party lending software, as well as other applications. In other words, it’s easy to implement.

 

For example, in order to provide employees with rapid access to documents in remote locations, a large U.S. online lender implemented an OnBase document management solution that seamlessly integrated with their loan origination system. All loan processes were streamlined and automated, from origination through shipping, while a workflow solution ensured promptness in completing the closing and post-closing/audit process.
