Making a Difference through the Hyland Software Community Engagement Program
Hyland Software is privileged by the opportunity to give back to the communities where we live and work. Our Community Engagement Program focuses on employee engagement and the organizations that mean the most to our employees.
We do that through:
•Matching Gifts and Dollars-for-Doers: Hyland supports employees’ community service by either matching their financial donations to the charity of their choice or by providing a financial donation to a nonprofit where an employee volunteers at least 40 hours within a year.
• Volunteer Time Off: this program allows employees to take up to twelve hours of paid time off to volunteer at nonprofits of their choice.
• “Done-in-a-Day”: Hyland further encourages volunteerism by offering opportunities for employees to conduct a day of service. These one-day volunteer projects make a tremendous impact on a nonprofit while promoting teambuilding and boosting morale among our employees
•Corporate-wide volunteer initiatives: Throughout the year we host events, volunteer time and help raise money for local and national organizations including the Cleveland Foodbank, The American Red Cross, Center for Families and Children and Positive Education Program.
•Employee Inspired Grants and Corporate Giving: We accept donation requests directly from organizations that are closely tied to our philanthropic mission and employees' interests. These primarily go to nonprofit programs that promote and develop youth education in technology or expand the organizations’ capacity through the use of technology.*
