Family
Through its full-service on-site daycare, Hyland offers Montessori-based education for preschool and kindergarten, and daycare services from six months to eight years.
Hyland offers plenty of fun events for employees – Cedar Point day, picnics, movie nights, holiday party, paintball, etc. – and their families, too. Employees are encouraged to bring family members to all events.
Amenities
In addition to the daycare, Hyland offers onsite barber shop, hair salon, restaurant, chair massages, car washes, seamstress, fitness center, manicurist and travel agent. Many of these services are provided at a subsidized cost for team members.
Healthcare
Medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance as well as free health club memberships are available to all eligible Hyland employees after three months of employment. Hyland also has its own full-service fitness center for employees. It includes daily classes, fitness machines and individual lockers and showers.
Financial
Within three calendar months, eligible employees can take advantage of flexible-spending accounts and 401k-matching.
Hyland doesn’t just say it’s employees are its greatest assets. It proves it by investing in them.
Every employee, from the vice president of sales to the software engineer, goes through a minimum of three weeks of training before hitting his or her desk. Working with our dedicated internal training team, Hyland Software University, employees get up to speed on our business, products and the industry.
But the learning doesn’t stop there. Hyland offers more than 200 technical and professional development courses throughout the year. Looking to obtain a specific certification? Employees are encouraged to identify and achieve Microsoft, CDIA+ and other certifications that enhance their careers. All professional development opportunities offered through Hyland, as well as all approved outside certifications, are free for employees.
Having an office in a city doesn’t just make us an employer. These are the communities where we live, and we’re committed to giving back to them.
With a focus on helping children learn more efficiently and effectively, Hyland makes a difference in its communities through financial and in-kind contributions, employee volunteerism, charitable events and the Hyland Technology Initiative Scholarship.
We have a full-time corporate giving specialist on staff to organize programs throughout the year, such as school supply drives, serving monthly lunches and dinners at shelters and reading hours at local schools.
What’s more, employees receive paid volunteer time off for their efforts. This applies to both Hyland organized events and volunteer opportunities of choice by individual employees.
